I hear you on the money thing though, I may just take the focus out to backwoods since I need new rear tires on the truck.

Speaking of which I was at my friends house talking to his dad for a bit and we were talking about his 32 ford hes got and the new wheels he just picked up for it. I asked what hes doing with the old wheels and hes like you want them you can have em, sure enough same bolt pattern and spacing, fit PERFECT. So now I have a set of centerlines, 14s in the front 15s out back, cant wait to get the new rear tires since the front tires are brand new. Also I finally painted the hood on the truck, looks real good, but I miss the confused faces I got with the rust Also decided Imma be dragging a little tree on the truck as well to show some FocalJet love (focus forum) Ontop of that I came up with a solution to protecting my down pipe since I just had it remade, and Im not looking to drag through it again. Put an exhaust clamp on where it dragged andnow its protected! Ill get some pics of the painted hood tomorrow before work if I remember

Re: Project: Built 2 Envy

Another update for this finally and a ton of pictures! Swapped my crappy faded chromegrill and black bumper for mint chrome ones with some guy I met at Checkers (food place), Resprayed the truck Navy Blue and got a window banner aswell. Also relocated my tank to the bed as it dragged pretty bad and I dont want it to rip a hole in it, not the prettiest but a temp fix till I can get the fuel cel and bed setup properly. Also got some new taillights which I traded for my old ones covered in overspray. Looking to get some new pics soon.

Oh yea Im officially going to Backwoods now so Ill see you guys there!!!

First pics are some I took with my boy on Memorial Day like a week after we lowered his truck and the last 5 are some random cell phone pics.

Re: Project: Built 2 Envy

Got some updated pic for you guys with my boy Joeys truck with the 17s back on the front, looks 100x better. Also got some real nice shots of our trucks too in this random area we found a few towns over. Updates on my truck are relocated gas tank and finally did my coolant overflow tank. Next up is my new wiring harness for the headlights with relays from LMC and installing my diamond headlights and 12000k HID kit cant wait!

truck looks great, what was the reason for moving the tank. Any plans on a more permanent solution

also, your bumper lights are on the wrong sides lol

Re: Project: Built 2 Envy

Moved the tank because I almost dragged through the damn thing. I just got a fuel cell the other day needa see if I can use my sending unit from the stock tank in it, but I think Im just going to use the one in it (0-90) and get an external fuel pump. I didnt even notice the bumper lights, how you know there are on the wrong sides, Im sure its obvious haha

Re: Project: Built 2 Envy

B/c the light goes to the outsides of the bumper, it helps with it clearing the body mount, i dont even think i could get mine on with the light towards the inside. And its not really obvious, i just put some clear lights in my bumper and it bothers me the bulbs aren't centered in the housings stock, and it occured to me it was to help clear the front core support mount so changing the bulb isnt a huge bitch

Re: Project: Built 2 Envy

Everyone keeps tellin me, especially the old school guys, to leave it as is just fix the body up and repaint it. I personally like the look of the 20s, when I tell people Im doing 20s or 22s the reactions are priceless. Im still torn between 20s or 22s. I dont think Ill ever body drop the truck so 22s wont be a problem

Re: Project: Built 2 Envy

Even with one compressor down I still got it out to go dragging. Got some new brackets made and bolted up some balls. It was too nice of a night to pass up, especially after the nasty humid days we just had. Heres some pics and 2 videos. Should have 2 more once my boy uploads them off his iPhone.

HIDs I got off ebay from the seller hid4u like 55 and change shipped. The corners are from ebay as well. For the HIDs though you will need tog et the composite lights which take an H4 bulb, got them for 25 off ebay as well haha.

Yea I can wait to freakin do this man, I can finally use my other cab and that one will be wayy less rust to repair, which is even better!

The air freshener is classic haha Im lookin to get the "new car scent" one for shits n giggles haha
