thanxs guys. when i started this truck it was going to be a dailydriver. just a simple bag job. lol. now iam building a full blown show truck. its safe to say this truck is giong to take a few years to build. i should have more updates later this week.

well got some more work done on the bed i ve been really motivated lately.
if anybody wants some rust i got lots lol. i used seft tapping screws to hold the skin on till i get new bed skins. ![]() everything is tacked together till it fits perfectly. ![]() ![]() the bed may look lite but its feels like 150-200lbs so far. i took it on and off 3 times today. what a work out. lol ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

bed frame look REAL familiar lol one problem i ran into when i did mine what do you plan on using for tail lights i had change the frame on mine because i was going to run taillights in the stock location just a lil heads up

not much of an update. but as soon as i get working regular hours. i going to be cutting the cab floor and backwall and maybe the firewall completly out. and build a one off 1"x1" frame for the cab floor then skin it smooth and skin the back wall. got to make it look smooth
. the wife keeps telling me if you think it will look better then do it. but hurry up and get the stupid thing done . and snow sucks ![]() |

still no update. but i got a really cool wireless print, scanner, copyer for xmas. so you guys can now see what my truck looked like when i got it and a year later. also my 87 extended cab s10 with a 327 i traded for a 87 iroc with tpi that i scraped the body and kept the drive train for the reg cab.

update time i got some parts. ya. got to love geting parts. also got the cab blocked up for the new sheet metal floor. i got new rockers and cab corners both sides. and colorado fenders and hood (free) there off of a truck from gm that was smacked up the hood needs some work so iam going to see if i can fix it if not i'll have to get a new one.

Haha, nice! I guess I didn't look at the bed close enough. The work does look really good though and I know what you mean about getting aworkout lifting the bed on and off by yourself. Before I sealed mine up I was taking it off and on about 2 times a day, lol. Now it takes 2 people to even move it!
