Looks awesome man. Happy birthday, I just celebrated mine on 3/29. Are you gonna POR-15 the frame while the motor is out? Thanks again for the bungs, I got them threaded and installed. They are gonna work great.

there's always ways around e-testing, either an "expensive e-test" or have it listed as "modified" ( I assume you were planning on a sbc) either way you can get through emissions

Re: project BODYBAG

well it rained today and its cold. so i did some call around about engine paint.

-duplicolor said to sand blast the block or sand it with 80 grit then paint and bake or run the engine for 1/2 to hour to cure it. good to 500 degs.

-plasta-kote said to clean the block of all oil and dirt. paint the block. the paint is oil resistent but they said not to let oil or gas sit on it will discolor. good to 500 degs.

-my fav POR15 engine enamel its just like painting a frame reg por15 (black) but one coat then top coat it with the color i want. and the best part is it is good to 600 degs.

so since i have all of the por15 marine wash, metal ready, and por15 paint. i am going have bulletproof the engine paint.
