Re: Project: Black and blue
Tryed to level out the truck today and the driverside rear frame rail is like 2inches higher then the passenger.. Does this mean my frame is bent?? If so how do i get it level I've searched and searched but I can't figure out if it's "chevy lean" or what please give me more info!

Re: Project: Black and blue
Chevy lean has to do with the weight of the truck vs the suspension design IIRC. It makes you lower on the driver's side consistently front and back. There are several reasons why your frame rail could be higher on one side. Post up pics and maybe someone else can help.

Re: Project: Black and blue
Day one we're gonna start this baby over idk wtf I was thinking the first time bolts weren't back on spring pockets weren't smoothed break lines were busted notches were uneven this thing was a true hack job and I feel like a dumb ass knowing I built it so time to redo everything and take my time with it. I got called off from work today so I started pulling the front end apart so, A. I have more room to work and B. its body drop time! Oh and C. Is turbo or supercharged sbc time getting a block from my dad soon for 100$ and I'll go from there. As for bags the 2500s will goto anther project and will be replaced with 2600s on sd uppers and lowers for the rear the mono leaf will be gone and replaced with a parallel 4 link with a watts link I will not be doing a sfbd due to I don't have the floor to do it in it will be traditional to the doors yes I can do it cuz imma midget lol but enuf of me talking here's where I began this morning and where I ended tonight
![]() ![]() ![]() more pics maybe tomaro it all depends on what hrs I work |
