and not much has been going on with it.. motor and tranny are mounted. and i was bored today so i notched out part of the frame for the control arm. i only did one side. its hot as hell and wasnt really in the mood to work on it. im gonna get my dad off his ass soon and get him out there. again a little bitty progress lol. i had both sides of frame notched and didnt even check to see if the control arms would hit when lifted.. and they did. so i notched more.. we will go back and clean it all up more once everything is setup and we take it all apart.

Actually it's a weaker joint when joined that way. So when you cap the front you should extend the plate down onto the tube coming up at an angle, with a triangle shaped end. And you should also put shear load gussets on the side of the weld. |

we got the rear brackets made and put the bags on with some temp. line. aired it up and stuck some 2x2 tubing in the front for now. we might mess with the front cups tomorrow. hasnt been outside in forever. we kind of wiped it down too          thats about where ride height is gonna be |

Thats a cool ride height. I would probably prefer about 1" lower all around, just to get the front lip inside the fender. But that's just me.
