Thanks man.

Yeah we got the bed on Friday night. Gotta get my new carpet in tomorrow and the seats back in. Then fill in the xtreme kit holes on the bed and finish up some body work on it. Then seam seal the inside and get it ready for line-x. Hopefully it will be all cleaned up and ready to go for Blood Drag.

new bed is fully shaved, full skin, caddy tails, full sheet metal inside with angled corners. Inside needs a little work, but it's nice. I don't have any pics of it yet, I'll get some up soon.

Re: [Project]: 95 SS

Update Time:

Got the new control arms on today. Thanks Jason! It's closer to laying in the front now. Is sitting on the firewall and tie rods pretty hard. Plans for next weekend are weld in the new rollpan, weld up xtreme kit holes on bed, weld in new rocker panel for driver side. Getting it ready for paint soon. I think I just about decided on a color.

Lookin good Justin. Were you not going to paint the bed to match your cab? I really like the flat red job you've had. I've always been a fan of those Caddy tails.

Thanks. Wasn't gonna say the color but I guess it won't hurt. Pretty sure it's gonna be PPG gunmetal metallic.

naw, I'm not going to Spring Fling. Wish I could. I may try to make it down to one of those Freaks of Nature cruise nights in either March or April. I will still definitely be at Southeast Showdown and Summer Showdown.

Re: [Project]: 95 SS

Yeah, I'll probably do shocks in the rear when we take the bed off to paint it. It really isn't all that bad with the re8s but it could use them.

The lowers were a pain in my ass and my back, what really sucks is that I messed my back up last week and working and the truck doesn't help.

Re: [Project]: 95 SS

Started a new console yesterday. Worked on it a little more today and got all the mdf work on it done. Houses 3 gauges for air, head unit and some badass stainless cupholders that match the gauges. Now just gotta duraglass some stuff. It will be wrapped in black vinyl with sewed seams on the sides.

^ note that angle lines up perfect when the ash tray is in. just forgot to put it in for that pic.

I'll get some pics up tomorrow of the progress.
