Project 4 Years Later

I really regretted selling my s10 after I bought my blazer, so when this deal came along I knew I had to buy it. I just brought it home today. Let me know what you think guys.

Re: Project 4 Years Later

Thanks. It is going to be a toy and will not be daily driven or in the winter. Here is my list so far, in no order.

Chrome front bumper
Chrome rear bumper
Grill (Paint?)
Bagged with dehumped lower arms, 3 link in back with bag behind and under
Thinking about keeping these rims for now so I can lay with stock bed
Tach, got annoyed driving it home without one
Seat swap
Console
Small System
Big Three Upgrade
Power Locks

That's what I'm thinking so far. It'll be slow until April because I'm going to put it away and pay it off before I start. I bought it for 3,200

Re: Project 4 Years Later

I'm planning on keeping the bed rails for now, I want to see how they look with the chrome bumpers. I'm debating on what I want to do about wheels right now. I think I'm leaning towards keeping my stock floor and running a smaller tire.

Re: Project 4 Years Later

I'd keep the white walls if they were bigger and I found a rim I liked with them. I'm leaning towards some zq8's.

The truck has never been wrecked, I'm thinking about swapping it over to a sealed front end with a chrome grille. I'm looking for some bixenon projectors now to retrofit in the headlights I have.

Re: Project 4 Years Later

I had been looking into how guys were raising their bedfloors. I was trying to find a way to do it without welding up on the bed rail. I didn't want to mess with having to repaint them now.

Re: Project 4 Years Later

Received my valves today. Brand new easystreet. They were sold to me as all 3/8", but showed up as four 3/8" and four 1/2". Guess I'll be using the 1/2's for my fills now.

I'm still in need of bags, front cups, and a few other small things. Slowly I'll get there.

Re: Project 4 Years Later

I would use the 3/8s as fills, and the 1/2s as dumps. On the dumps put a 1/2 plug in the end and drill it out to slow them down. 1/2 ups are really fast, if that is what you want its all good, but it gets really old trying to fine tune your setup.

Re: Project 4 Years Later

I'm planning on running 1/2" fill and 3/8" dumps for now and we'll see what I think.

I picked up 4 1/2 cross brass fittings and some 1/8" air line. I also bought new JTR 9/16" ubolts tonight.

Right now I'm trying to decide if it's worth putting 8" bags up front or not. What do you guys think?

Re: Project 4 Years Later

Got my new JTR ubolts and they are beefy looking and well worth what I paid.

I've been doing a bit of research and staring at the truck and have decided how I'm going to do the raised bed floor. Right now I'm debating on pulling the dash and body dropping the cab at the same time or not...

Last night I started to put my power locks in and now I just need to wire up my viper alarm to control them.
