Re: [Project] 10 Pennies
What didn't I do to it! It's 2 s10 bumper ends for the corners. Sectioned the factory bumper down so it was lower, added the lip on the bottom, and hand made the center section. There's a ton of cuts, but I'm stoked how it came out!

This thing has come along amazingly! I love so many of the little details. I do have to say that I was disappointed not to see it finished at LOATP. Next year?

Re: [Project] 10 Pennies
Yeah, I'd like it to make it there next year. Thought about coming truckless, but figured it'd be better to save the money and put it towards finishing it. Next step is to see if this engine is any good, considering I built the entire truck around it and have never heard it run!

Re: [Project] 10 Pennies
As for the questions on the motor, that's gotta tighten the sphincter a bit. Those things ain't cheap. I priced one to go in the full size, and decided on something cheaper. It's coming along beautifully. Can't wait to see what you're gonna do with the paint.

how did you go about laying out the cut lines for that sun roof? did you just lay it all flat across the roof and trace it?

Re: [Project] 10 Pennies
Basically layed it centered kept cutting til it looked right. The whole side of the roof has been remade. The s10 roof is fairly flat. The g6 roof peaks about an inch higher.
