Re: >>Oops... I did it again ;)
this is a pro efx roll pan by good mark, fits fine, but does require drilling. it is not even close to the factory holes, had to take the tail gate off to mock it up.
drilled all my holes, mounted and test fit complete, i am happy ![]() worst pictar evar |

Re: >>Oops... I did it again ;)
i do not like welded pan for a few reasons:
when ever you weld on metal, it creates a heat effected zone, and no matter what you do, it'll rust faster once it has been welded. when i exited driveways in my old 5/6 truck, i dragged the balls outta my old roll pan and ruined the bottom edge. i then simply un bolted it, installed my 98+ bumper, and dragged that which took a better beating. |

Target delivery date for my 2012 fusion is march 7th to 14th, once i get that car, the s10 will be immediately slammed. You have no idea how incredibly shitty it is to have thousands in parts just chilling in your living room instead of on the truck, the suspense for the suspension is soooo bad

Re: >>Oops... I did it again ;)
a note to all attempting a 98+ from 94-97 front end swap:
IT WOULD BE A HECK OF A LOT EASIER WITH A FRIEND!!! that being said, i unknowingly did the swap myself today and regretted it. took me about 4 hours. i ate 4 hot dogs and did a lot of stuff in between, the how to on here was a lot of help but also had a lot of things missing. the how to did not include removing and reinstalling the windshield washer reservoir, the air box, and the wiring. the how to does not touch on the wiring at all, and left me there to figure it out myself, which wasn't a big deal. the headlight harness also includes 2 plugs in it for the abs, and there is a large junction right beside the abs box. i had to disconnect the junction by the abs box, and snake the abs plugs, horn plug, and washer pump plugs along with the headlight harness all through the rad support. it was a bear, and i really wanted to just cut the friggen thing but i remained patient and got it all out. half way through, left the a/c condenser and radiator hanging so i wouldnt have to drain the rad or recharge the a/c. ![]() doneski ![]() right headlight fits like a mixture of ass and butt, i am going to figure it out another day. i was really dirty, sweaty, bloody, and had a hell of a sore back so i will tackle the right lamp tomorrow i suppose. i utilized the blazer harness for the pigtails, and every light works like it should. taking the air bag sensors from one core support to the next was tough as well. this thing needs to be lowered soo bad |

Re: >>Oops... I did it again ;)
thanks bruh! the headlights need to be buffed really badly, then it'll look more proper.
also the how to omitted how shitty it is to take the core support out even though you've taken all the bolts out. i actually had to loosen the majority of the fender bolts, and remove some, to give me enough wiggle room to get the support out. |

Re: >>Oops... I did it again ;)
bad news guys... less than 24 hours after the 98+ swap, i got tboned and totaled.
![]() ![]() door doesnt open, floor is a little crinkled, rocker is completely gonezo... at least the nose looks decent ![]() i do not have collision coverage on this vehicle, the accident is definitely the other party's fault but it's tough determining liability when i was the one turning left. there is a security camera with footage of the whole accident, hopefully that helps sway things in my favor. meanwhile i have a couple thousand in s10 parts sitting in my living room and a totaled truck. fml. |

Re: >>Oops... I did it again ;)
Yeah, I can fix it, im just not sure what the liability decision is going to be. It was obviously they're fault, but we'll see I dont have collision, so my imsurance wont cover the wreck. Idk whats goin on right now. I could buy it back, but if its worth it will depend on what they offer me for a settlement.

Re: >>Oops... I did it again ;)
You should buy it back, especially since it wasn't your fault. Hopefully their insurance will pay out more than what it will cost to buy it back, and for some body parts. Is there any frame damage?

Re: >>Oops... I did it again ;)
finally an update!
so almost a month after the accident and my insurance company is fighting with gieco still over liability. i actually got a hold of some one at gieco with a brain and they sent an appraiser to look at my truck. the appraiser was a girl who was clueless, but she took a bunch of photos, and didn't total my truck! so today i bought a door, and by tomorrow or so i'll have a new rocker in my hands. rust and dent free, just dirty, 50$!

that's awesome that you'd consider buying my old truck, i loved it too. she had a lot of miles on her and a lot of things here and there from being a work truck etc... that's why i bought this s10. i missed my old one so much, and this truck was babied it's whole life, not destroyed as a work truck. well it was babied until it took a 98 accord to the rocker panel lol |

Re: >>Oops... I did it again ;)
since there hasn't been a settlement yet on the liability, i do have not seen any money from gieco, i'm currently fixing this on my own dime. since i spent a little under 5500$ on a street bike this summer, funds are a little low haha so door and rocker are first priority. i'll buff the scuff on the bed, it's not dented and that will look half way decent. i'll take car of the ding on the fender when i am body working the rocker panel. i'm hoping to snag the replacement rocker today if i'm lucky |

Re: >>Oops... I did it again ;)
what is cool tho is that they wrote for a used door for 125$, and i got one for 50$, so i am already ahead of the 8 ball 75$. also consider that they are paying on the estimate 46$ an hour for the labor, and i'll be doing it myself costing me only my own time.

good work on the insurance money, and it was definitely the emerald mall, i was there for an eye appointment haha and huge thanks for the phone number, just called him! And i just happend to have wrecked my old truck right before you put yours up for sale so it was basically my prime candidate till i got a great deal on my 95'. and now that i think about it... i wrecked it on my way to buy 3 zq8 rims off some guy near you and you were gonna sell me your spare from your camaro. shit that was a while ago
