I'll tell ya,,, the S-10 grilles are a PIA to sand. Lots of red scotchbrite for that one!

Going to call about paint tomorrow. Not going to use the shop Sikkens.. probably go with

Re: No mom, it'll stay stock...

Paint and Clear ordered. Should be here on Wednesday.

1 gallon of base and it's 1:1, so I will have 2 gallons reduced. That will give me lots to make sure there is sufficient coverage and also the same mix for the bed.

This will also ensure that there is enough to do extras like air tanks, dash and future paintable items.

I will have 1 1/2 gallons of clear and I can get more later if I need it.

Getting close!!

Re: No mom, it'll stay stock...

I am taking two weeks off of sometime this month. I will be working on Phils truck the whole time. Aside from the bed, the truck should be painted and ready to go.

Not only does he need the truck back, but I need the room in my garage back!

When I'm done with it, Phil still has to do the wireing, engine and a ton more.

It will be tight to go down on it's own, but it should be trailerable!
