That's cool. Finger Fkn tube joints sucks. I've learned to wear latex gloves and have a qt cup of laquer thinner. Spread the filler around the weld and smooth it with your finger dipped in thinner. Takes way less sanding to make it smooth.
Keep up the build I wanna see it done!

Re: My project s-10

Yeah I always use the gloves. Plan to. Been doing a lot of thinking about some things so I going to be pretty sweet when I get here done. I hope. Haha.

Been watching your build too. Love the fact you sectioned the body. I thought about doing that back in the day but just did the chop instead. Looking forward to see what yours looks like finished too.

Re: My project s-10

ok so i'm home now so i guess i better update like i said i would.

so i decide that i was not really not to happy with the way the rear arms were on the truck. so i starting working on the frame again. i also had a couple things that i wanted to fix so i figured i would just fix everything i wanted to and just build up off that.

while i was working on that a friend decide it was time to stock floor his s10. so now there are two truck in my garage in piece.

so now my shop is total full and its fun to try an work in it

walking into the shop

Re: My project s-10

Nice update! I was going to ask if you built that rotisserie. That would def be helpful for sure especially when it comes to painting the frame.

Re: My project s-10

hahaha. truck is still in the garage, just haven't had time to work on it. got about 10 projects going now right now that have to get done before i can get something done on the truck. building a new bay onto my garage right now to park the trailer and sheet metal on. once that is done i will get back to work on the truck. hoping something will happen on this poor thing by the end of October.
