ok it's been a long time for a update but i have about 20 other things going on with the t-shirts and stickers and other customer rides onto of working a full time job.
anyway heads and the top end is on and i am working on the exhaust and the wiring. i hope when i come back from camp n drag i can fire it up.
head gaskets on and ready for the heads
all new head bolts
now the heads. there's who know how many hrs into these, special thanks to my buddy rick for getting these dialed in. they are fully port matched and flow tested so they all match, they are a pice of art lol.
new intake gaskets, i like to use the gm updated ones, $38 and well worth it for me
lower intake set, it had the runners cleaned up and there was a large ridge that was removed.
getting stuff put on
the ls1 tb before i cut off the linkage arms
cut off the arm of the stock 4.3 tb and wekded it onto the ls1 tb, i have to use a tb spacer so my cruse control arm dose not hit the fuel rail, i may mill .50" off to lower it a little.
because the o-ring for the throttle body on the 4.3 intake will milled into the intake and the marine intake is not because it's on the throttle body i was left without a gasket, found a 96 gm vortec 454 tb gasket worked well.
installing the headers and they fit so good, i am really happy with them, tone of room for the spark plug boots
