hey this is my first s10 i have been reading all lot of the threads on here for a long time seen alot of great rides on here and finally found a s10 in my budget its a 95 ext cab 2.2 5 spd all stock and i want try my first s10 project but im not sure where to start so could any body give me some ideas the pic is crappy due to it being taken on my phone

I'm on the same page as you, on your first s10 and just starting. I would say first take off the topper and go from there. Get an idea of how you want it to look and start with the basics.

yea the topper was on it when i bought it, i tried to get the guy to keep it but he said it goes with the truck so yea

i don't have anything against the topper really. are all the obvious things taken care of? brakes, tune up, ball joints, tie rods ends, no uneven wear on the front tires or anything?

do you want to lower it or what? maybe you can sell the topper if you don't like it to have money to spend on upgrades.

yea i had a shop go through it all the day i got it cus i was smelling gas, it had to have new injectors put in but other then that everything works great no uneven wear on tires drives straight stops good, i dont have anything against the topper i just dont think its for me a friend of mine had an s10 about 5 years back and he turned his topper into one big base box, but i havent seen him in a few years or i would ask him for some advise, im pretty sure i want to lower it im just not sure if i want to go as far as baggin it or a body drop
