Seen it at the show yesterday, beautiful truck and congrats on the shoot. I was telling some of the guys that your truck needed to be shot asap because of just how immaculate it is. Well deserved

I would love to come to showfest but there is no way I can make it down. I have a few friends going and I wish I could make it so bad.

LOL, I got it fixed and lined back up pretty good before the shoot. Not perfect but good enough to hide it in any pics I think.

Daily Driver....Well not quite but The wife and myslef hopped in this beast tonight and went to get a little food and to a local cruise in. Had a good time, probably put about 30 road miles on her, felt pretty good other than a few small issues I am going to tend to

I would have liked to meet you man, I was standing/ sitting on the sidewalk behind it for a little while but I was walking around looking at other stuff some too. There wasn't that big of a turnout this week bc of rod run I think.

Re: Few small things that have spiraled completly out of hand

Found a few pics on Drop Jaw's coverage of Layd out at the park. I haven't really messed with it at all since a week after the show but maybe this will motivate me to get it fairly comfortable to drive on a semi regular basis.

this thing looks top notch!!! Can't wait to see it on the pages of MT. Any pics on how you built that rear bench? I read through the whole thread and didn't find anything.

Thanks, I really didn't take any pics of building the bench. It is mdf and 2x4 cut to fit how I wanted, The seat is hinged with my battery and storage for tools, spare parts etc. under it. Then I sewed my cover and put it on.

Cool thanks... definately might be something I think about, especially now that a little one is in the picture.

Thanks, I really like it back there. I wasn't sure I wanted to do it until I just made it and saw how it looked in there

Re: Few small things that have spiraled completly out of hand

hows the leg/foot room back there? looks like ol school Camaro buckets up front so you don't have the 5' high stock back in the way which is nice.
absolutely in love with that rear bench and your interior man

Re: Few small things that have spiraled completly out of hand

Thanks Gimp, The head and foot room really are not that great, I have sat back there a few times to try it out as I was building it and I wouldn't want to ride back there but I am 6 ft tall. Wouldn't be too bad for a kid or a shorter person just for a short distance. I wanted the seat to be lower but my battery is under there and that is as low as I could get it without recessing it into the floor.

I like the bench so much better than when I had my speakers back there. I have room under the seats to haul quite a bit of stuff and I can put car show chairs and stuff on the back seat if I drive it to a show.

Thanks man, I'm so glad for all the good words on the interior and back seat. I went back and forth of weather to put that seat in or not....Really glad I did after I got it built and the cover made and put on.
