Re: Esten. Then & Now

Wow, that's a nice motor. Any horsepower and torque numbers? Just curious.

Yup! Got any info you may want. 470 HP and roughly 500 lb tq.
Also, if you wanna check out the dyno sheet:

Re: Esten. Then & Now

BTW I think 470 HP is a little much for an s10.. thinking about changing mymind AGAIN and putting the stroker in my Impala and throwing the 350 from that in Esten.

In that situation, I'd agree. What fun is it if you can't use the power? Instead of an over-powered truck and an under-powered car, you could have two very generously-powered rides. That Impala's gonna need a lot more TQ than the S10 to make it fun.

For a while, I was looking for a crew cab Sierra for a daily. I was gonna put my LQ9 in the Sierra and put the Sierra's 5.3 in the S10. I'm not getting the Sierra now, so the LQ9 is still slated for the S10.

Re: Esten. Then & Now

I would put the 383 in the HEAVY Impala. The 3fiddy would still be lots of fun in the S-10. BTW, holy crap at the power that beast is making!

^ This!

But seriously, two cars with good power will probably be much better overall.
