Brothers first gen blaze.
My bro picked up a blazer back about the time the forum crahsed, I think I had a few pics posted somewhere, but they were lost in the shuffle..
But anyways, this is a first gen blazer that he's doing for himself, I think it's going to be a driver, but we shall see how carried away he get's.. For those of you that know me, I have a shop in michigan, I'm going to be closing up in a few months and it looks like he is going to be opening up a shop, he might use this for advertising purposes. But we shall see how things go. he's still young. Well that's the story, here's the project. Here is how he got the ride. ![]() ![]() |

Re: Brothers first gen blaze.
This thing came from florida and was immaculate. no rust on this thing anywhere, very few dings.. only real body work was where he shaved things.
I wish they we're all this way. |

Re: Brothers first gen blaze.
Well I got some other things going that are going really well. so basically I am shutting down in june, and my brother and I are opening up.. I'm still going to be heavily involved, but he's going to take care of all the daily stuff. after I get finished with my other work i'll help him out.. Plus part of the reason for closing and re-opening is that we're going to open as a restoration and custom shop.. No more collision work.
Going to keep it small.. I have 2 buildings here, and I am going to rent one of the buildings out to a collision shop. It will probably end up just being him, and me part time, or whenever I have a slow time in the other business. Probably just take on 2 cars or so at a time, that way we can devote our time to making sure they come out as nice as we want them to,, when doing collision it wasn't a big thing to have 15-20 cars here, I'm tired of the chaos and it makes it really hard to find time to work on the cars I want. All of the resto work and custom got pushed to the side, because the pay isn't usually as quick and as much as it was with collision. So we decided if the resto and custom was the way to go we needed another source of funds to take place of the collision.. Now I found that and have it growing really strong with a guy that basically runs it.. so I will basically be part time in both business's, what ever one needs me the most that day is where i'll go.. ![]() Time will tell but when it get's rolling keep your eyes open. I'm even curious to see what we can come up with. |

Re: Brothers first gen blaze.
Offer you a job??? have you lost your marbles??? You play on the computer and work on your own stuff to much during the day... And I already took that job, and your not getting it.. But as far as teh blaze goes, I think he's going with a green on the top.. possibly a candy. Possibly a charcoal on bottom, and possibly some orange graphics.. not surew what he has planned for sure.. he's been kicking around a bunch of things.. |

Re: Brothers first gen blaze.
LOL.. just started a new thread on it.. funny you remembered.. it's been a while and couldn't find the thread. so I guess it got lost..
But he's got a little more done on this. he's got one mini notch cut.. it's static but basically the axle is sitting on the frame. so it's a little rough.. but should be better now.. |

here's a pic of the side he's got done..
Need to weld it in yet, but I figured he'd get them both in before he starts welding. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f8...aze/1stgen.jpg |
