When I bought it before I started hopping it and the huge plates of body filler started falling off...

Most of one side down...

Fender off and laying out...

At Dustoff 2005...

I may have alot of free time really soon. If so I'll be getting back to work on it.

No progress. I'm still workng on the car so I have not worked on the truck in a while. I try not to look at it because I have alot of work to do and do not want to go back to working on it daily because I will run into alot of stuff that I will need to buy and I do not want to spend any money on it for a while.

That is how I got the truck. It was ghetto so I tore it apart and plan to slowly redo it.
The taillight fillers were made of 10 or so thin strips of 20 guage metal that were tacked together. They had a whole lot of dynaglass on them to make them stay in and a few layers of bondo/ glaze over that. The bodywork was done really well. You could not tell how messed up the body was underneath before I started tearing into it.

No updates. It is outside until I get my car done doing what is going on right now. I'm not working on it in the cold. I changed a few of my plans so I will be spending some money on it before I work on it again and I do not plan to spend any for a while. New body panels will be bought and installed because the body on it will take too long to straighten and is soo thin that it would be a waste.

I learned to drive in my grandpa's red chevy luv truck, I always wished I could do something cool like this with it. Was checking out your mercedes on myspace, that thing is really unique and cool.

There's a guy out here in Cali runing a suede'd out Luv with a toy motor and 18" Lexus wheels. Truck looks really good.

Yours seems pretty cool too man I never realized how much potential Luvs had untill now.

I guess when everybody builds everything else you gotta try something new.
