84 s10.

Hey guys im new to the site, anyway i have a 84 S10 and its my project...so far iv done a fair bit of body work and then proceeded to paint it flat black.
I put a chevy 327 in it, rebuilt it with new pistons a edelbrock cam edelbrock carb( have a weigan 8000 manifold on order) domed pistons and a new crankshaft. It's got a 700r4 4 speed auto trans hooked upto a hurst shifter. The interiors pretty stock FOR NOW i plan on puttin in buckets new carpet and a custom dash. Also plan to put some 18" rims on, euro tails, and i bought some diamond cut headlights with some nice halagen bubls. Heres some pics for your guys...

pic from front

interior pics

engine shot

more pics of the truck...

rims i plan on buying.

I also realy want to lower it more, but not to sure how i would go about that for the rear, i know for the front i need drop spindals and probably springs or w/e any input is realy realy apriciated, thanks alot guys..
Jon more pics to come!!! and progress.

Re: 84 s10.

dude, you don't lay body filler over flat black! take it down to metal on the bed, and scuff the rollpan, then use fiberglass to mold it first, and body filler to finish off, otherwise I promise you that will crack out in 3 months.

Re: 84 s10.

no actually weld it, grind the welds down, and then put fiberglass on it, and never ever put bondo or anykind of body filler on top of paint, and since you didn't scuff it your not getting SHIT for adhesion it's gonna be ****ed up in the end

Re: 84 s10.

Well i boguht a fiberglass kit so i'm gonna knock out the bondo and try n do the glass instead of bondo. on another note im still waiting for my amp to come in the mail so havent got the stereo hooked up completey, tho i did get my ps2 in there and itskinda fun to play games in my truck lol. Also bought some 10mm LED's and put one in each headlight and got some 4MM LED's for the back lights, there green and look pretty cool too have them on a toggle switch for now, i kind of want to get a relay or something that makes them blink but i dont know how i'd go about that? any ideas?? try and get some pics tomrorw.

Re: 84 s10.

I agree it does look dented in the pic but it's just the angle. doesnt seem dented to me in person.
