Re: 65 ford shortbed
I personally wouldn't run big wheels. I would slap some oversized 17-18 inch steelies on it with some blackwall tires and drive and drag it.

Re: 65 ford shortbed
got me an ididit chrome column and a polished swivel firewall mount. mocked it up today and shaved the driver side of the firewall. gutted the dash and heater, mocked up the ac/heater kit i have, should fit real nice.

Re: 65 ford shortbed
i dont have a link, one of my buddies has a rod shop and he got it for me.... id assume he got it direct from them, but i know ive seen em in my southern rods catalog.
mines not a column shift so i dunno on the reverse light. mine has the wiring for the turns, hazards, and horn....mine doesnt have an ignition switch either ( gunna use the factory location) it wasnt bad to install: shaved my wall, used the templete provided for the mount holes, used half the drop down hanger kit and just drilled new holes in the bottom of the dash ( i have to make some billet spacers). |
