Re: 65 ford shortbed
I have a 69 f100 im working on now, mostly bodywork like floorboards, hood, rockers, and what not. It will be bagged before its done. It was given to me by my neighbor, he saw what i did with a s10 and he wanted his f100 to go to someone who would fix it back up.

Re: 65 ford shortbed
Yeah i need the courier cut down when my wheels come in...the housing would be fine as i know ima have to get the axles...i think mouser (sp) are good ones or something...im trying to save some cash on doing it...its a 6 lug truck and i wanna keep it at that because usually 6 lugged trucks change over...and my wheels are 6 lugged lol.

Re: 65 ford shortbed
if the space is there(fpr the 6 lugs) i can get my dad to change the lug pattern on the ota axles... we just changed mine, you gotta pull the axles but its not that bad. hes got a machine at work that does it. i think that would be your cheapest bet honestly. i picked up mine for like 50 bux and its crazy narrow. im sure i can get him to step off the holes pretty cheap too

Re: 65 ford shortbed
Just for reference, the 73-78 Toyota axles are 53" wide. The pre-85 Mazda and Courier axles are 54.5" wide. You're not saving much room.
If you get it narrowed, call Moser. They are the best, fastest, and most fairly prices since they do more business than the rest. A set will run you between $400 and $700 shipped. |
