Been working on trying to get the truck up and running a little more dependably. I took the rear sway bars off the 2 rear axles we have and opened up the cover on one to snap a pic of the limited slip. Pulled the axle off my truck tonight so I can swap out the limited slip setup and the disk brake setup in the next few weeks. Thanks to the guys that helped me move these things around. What a pain.



Chris came up and installed the Edelbrock carb on the engine since he's buying the Demon back from me. Here's some open header action (not for those with 56k): Engine Movie

Me and my friend John spent about 5 hrs on Saturday doing the limited slip swap. We still have some adjusting to do. That'll probably happen next Saturday. The original plan was to change out the drum brakes to disk brakes but after looking at it we realized The flange at the end of the axles are different so the disk brake setup won't mount to the drum brake axle housing without some of modifications. Total bummer. Oh well, at least I have limited slip now.

Soon. I finally got gas tank and fuel pickup today from the junk yard for $18! Once I get the rear end back in I can bleed everything and maybe take it for a drive. Still have some electrical work to do before it's 100% road worthy.

sweet i cant wait to drive mine. only thing holding me back on mine right now is the brakes but i think brandon(minituckin) is taking it to the brake shop to have them bleed the whole system hopefully that will fix it. if not i dont know what else it could be.......

No hood, lights, coresupport, hood, fenders, doors, bed barely bolted down and no tail lights. It was awesome.

Gas tank is finally in! Driveshaft and limited slip axle go in tonight. Thursday night should be topping off fluids and bleeding brakes.

Got the drums all back together. The new front caliper's on and the brakes are bled. Thanks to Scott, Grinder, & Josh for helping out. I'll post a few pics this weekend.

Got the axle back up to the garage. Now packed with the limited slip setup.


Then threw some fresh paint on it to clean things up before installing it.


This is my $3 gas tank after having the holes welded up and coating it in Rust Bullet.


Now it's plumbed and installed.


Pooch got the hood primed too.


Decided to air it up to ride height. AGH I WANT TO DRIVE IT!

looks good man i gotta take my shit in to get an alignment bad. if i hit a stripe in the road the tire will squal. i just need to figure out where i wanna ride at. but i think i need a passenger to sit with me.

Well I started installing the poppers on Thursday. It went great at first until I started mounting the poppers. I realized I was missing half the crap I needed. Found it a half hour later. Mounted one popper way lower than the cable could even reach on a back door. Mounted one on the opposite door in a place that's damn near impossible to get to the nuts to bolt them in. Can you imagine Chip Foose's team doing stuff like that? I'd be laughing my ass off. That night I was ready to throw a solenoid through a window. It truly was a sad night...

I'll try to finish them up on Tuesday after having a weekend to relax. Hopefully I'll have a clearer head and be able to get it done.

We've put some of the lenses in and sanded them down but the bodywork's been on hold for a while so Pooch can finish up Doug's bodydrop sitting next to mine. It's half way through paint. Should be done early next week, then it's back to mine.
