[Project] GreyScale - Shaved, Bagged, and V8'd 4-door 1st Gen

Thanks guys. We finally spent some time finishing up some work on the power steering. Only thing I have left to do under the hood is rerun some of the battery cables to clean things up and get all the wiper hardware back in place. Should have a few updated pics this weekend.

Just ordered the fenders for under the hood tonight. too.

i like the build up on your blazer cant wait till mine gets going but i might take the extra time and lay her down to the rockers

it prolly wont be at any show this year but ill drive my other blazer even tho its nothing special

Blaze looks good. You should like those fenders..I had to do hardly any trimming to make them fit..they're grrrreat...lol.

Cool man. Even if I could convince Pooch to bodydrop mine I don't know if I would right now. I'm so anxious to drive it! Plus I figure I have to leave something to do later once I get bored with it.

Even if you don't have the ride rolling it's a cool show to check out. Oh, bring cash too. It's free for spectators but we have an auction with a bunch of car & truck related stuff. Someone got $250 worth of UCoat-It garage epoxy for $75 last year. There was some air-ride stuff and a really nice garage creeper too. All you have to do is bring cash and be the highest bidder.

I'm keeping mine. As for the other one, Pooch basicly wanted it for the disk brake setup. He might be willing to part with the limited slip part of it if the price was right. Both sway bars are for sale for $50 each if it's local pick up.

i was just after the disc set up i have a 9C1 set up but i'm so deep into fabricating now that im tryin to cut some corners with some bolt in stuff.

sorry man, not for sale. i got a sfbd project ill b workin on and thats whats goin under it.

but you can get caliper brackets, calipers and rotors from i believe a late model camaro that are 100 percent bolt on. i already looked into it, minus the calipers, your lookin at like 150 bux. calipers are i believe like 75 each ( sux! )

they work because all the axles are the same size width wise, they just use diff ends for drums or disc.

nice i might ride out to that im in ky so its only like a 2 hour drive i might put my 20s and 22s on my 2dr but it might look like a donk and im getting a touch screen for it and covering everything in gray cloth to make it look some what nice

You'd be in competition for the 'longest traveled' trophy. Last year a guy came from Brampton, Ontario (just outside Toronto) with a killer tow truck.

Tow truck w/ full air-ride and 11 monitors inside

2 hours to KY? Are you near Cinci or something?

We're talking to a couple different venues right now. Once we figure out where it'll be this year we'll have a date. We're shooting for the weekend of June 2nd.

im in louisville ky it takes 2 hours to get to owensville ohio if you no where that is. it isnt to far fomr cinci. but my 2dr needs work needs a new door which i have and need a quater panel cuz it got backed into

oh yeah i have a 12 gallon air tank i want to sell could i put it in the auction and how much does it cost to have something in the auction??

1 original body/frame
2 front doors from a truck in AZ
1 back door from a local yard in Detroit
1 rear glass from another truck in Detroit
1 gas tank from a 2-door Blazer
The entire front clip is new metal from Shermans Auto Body.

My truck's a total mutt.

Just think of it this way, you've saved part of them from a wrecking yard. When I go to this one yard in Detroit I see so much s-series stuff I want to grab and resell. I can't have my place become a scrap yard too though.

Got bedliner on the entire frame now. Front fenders showed up yesterday too so Pooch and Jerry got busy on those and welded them in along with the battery tray. Tonight some of the Second Skin Audio sound deadener will go on the inside of the roof. I think I'm going to hold off on doing the floor and doors till everything's back at my place. I'll take a few pics tonight too.

Not sure about the show schedule this year. I know I'll be hitting ITB for sure plus 3 local shows including ours. I just started a new job so I only get 1 week of vacation. Kinda makes doing ITB and Havoc kinda hard. It's built to be driven. I'll be driving it every sunny day this summer if I can trying to work out the bugs before the big trip to Indy.

That'll be a lot more fun that the trip to ITB last year:

Oh, and as for the tank, All profits from the auction go to the American Cancer Society. Any items donated to the auction should be new or in "like new" condition. Last year we had auction items from Mothers Car Care, UCoat It garage coating systems, tons of local restraunts, and more.
