Being that it's water based, do you think it might tend to wash off while driving on wet roads?

I'd soak a test panel in water for a day or so just to be sure...

I know the trunk paint in old cars is waterbased (this is the general motors stuff, nothing cheap) and when we were wetsanding a car some water got in and after sitting for a little while actually lifted the paint (when dried it settled back down a bit discolored though) and it could wipe right off...

so know we clear coat it... so you may want to look into that

just looking out for you, truck looks great by the way, the whole underside is done so clean it looks like it could be factory..

edit: forgot the thumbs up

Re: 3+ years in the making

got all the other brackets and shit on... just need to get some belts...

got the power performance steering linkage in too..

repainted the headers again.. they held up very well for just ceramic paint, and being almost two years old, but they did need a freshining up...

also got in my left and right quarter patches.. why the patches, well i had a small amount of rust comign through on the passengers side wheel well, and when i cut the inner wheel houses out for the new tubs, i noticed lots of rust there on both sides... not to mention i dented the shit outta the wheel well arches on the quarters.. so to save time and completly stop the rust new quarters....
