Re: 01 Blazer Xtreme Bagged on 24s

That bumper must go in the trash meow!!!!

I've seen people take an xtreme air damn, and marry it up with those headlights before. Involves some custom bumper fabrication to fill the gap under the headlights but its do-able.

Re: 01 Blazer Xtreme Bagged on 24s

Any updates on the truck? I'm seriously considering 24s for my truck but i'm having a hard time finding the offset. What was the specs on the rims you ended up with?

I've seen 25mm offset mentioned once or twice and if i remember right Gimp is running a +15 on his truck with 22s.

Re: 01 Blazer Xtreme Bagged on 24s

Trucks been sitting since BloodDrag and I broke my race car, so I've been busy wrenching on that instead...
As far as the wheels go, I actually haven't pulled the trigger on any wheels, the 24s on there were from my buddy and I was just borrowing them. They were U2-35s with a ford/Chevy pattern.
As far as the bumper goes... Still trying to come up with something unique for it... Don't believe the Xenon is going to be permanent.

Mines only a +5 on a 9.5" wide 22. You were close tho .

Re: 01 Blazer Xtreme Bagged on 24s

Ah ok. I had been reading around quite a bit when I posted that so probably mixed up a few numbers along the way. Maybe one of you could help me out a bit here. I'm trying to figure out if a 24x9 with a +12 offset will tuck in nicely.

Racecar eh? Another hobby or you do that for a job?

Re: 01 Blazer Xtreme Bagged on 24s

i dont see you having any problems with that. As long as you put a proper tire size on them of course

Re: 01 Blazer Xtreme Bagged on 24s

Please get rid of that front bumper. It takes away from all the great work you have done!

Re: 01 Blazer Xtreme Bagged on 24s

The racecar is another hobby I have, not really a racecar... Just a C6 Corvette I whip around...
As far as the bumper goes, I've got some ideas to keep the envoy bumper and have it match up...

Re: 01 Blazer Xtreme Bagged on 24s

i really think the envoy bumper will work with the Xtreme kit if you just add a tiny 1" lip to the bottom of it. maybe it doesnt even have to be that big idk but ive seen one too many Xtreme's with them and you can see its just lacking a little bit of length to match the low of the side skirts.

Re: 01 Blazer Xtreme Bagged on 24s

And i think the 24s we used when we were fabricating were 24x9 +15mm if memory serves, dont quote me on that....

Front Bumper is also gone. (And there was much rejoicing)

Re: 01 Blazer Xtreme Bagged on 24s

I guess if I copy your rear setup I can keep my stock seats and layout on 20s. Thanks for the info man.

Hell ya you got a killer deal. What's your plans with the wheels, leave them how they are or powdercoat them all to match?
