Re: wheels repainted
I know the pictures blow and not everyone will like them, but I am in love. I think it looks so much more sinister and gives it more of the look im going for. Also since wire wheels have sealant inside I had to have them painted not powdercoated.

I think they look good, and besides the mirrors, so does everything else.

Re: wheels repainted
I think if you did something with the paint like a 2 tone with black on top would look a lot better. Wheels do look 100x better though.

Re: wheels repainted
Thanks guys. No 2 tone for it but when it gets painted it'll have the bumpers painted and the mirrors will go black. Not everyones cup of tea.

Re: wheels repainted
i understand why you painted everything but i think the chrome and black combo looked better because they tied the grille, bumpers and knock-offs together, but looks good none the less.

The front bumper will be all sheetmetaled and painted to match. Thanks for the comments. I really love it so much more.

Re: wheels repainted
The centers are knock off. You litterly beat them off so you can't paint. Also I like the offset of the color. The bumper is getting sheetmetaled then painted to match. Thanks for the comments.

Re: wheels repainted
looks good, but with all black wheels you have to keep your tires shined up!

Re: wheels repainted
I actually dont like the look of shined tires, Im werid about it I know. I think I am going to run a envoy front bumper and cut and plastic weld it so it matches the s10 grille and then have it painted to match the truck and the rear bumper will get some custom touches. I know its going a dark candy red but not sure if its going to have airbrushing or not. Im thinking solid color but dont know.

Re: wheels repainted
yeah for now the chrome looked ok but after the truck gets painted with no chrome anywhere and the air brushing the wheels will make more sence. Gotta look at the later picture of a build.

Re: wheels repainted
Well got tired of no rear view mirror and had a little mishap with size dowel used on some spider web for one of our shop vehicles and so I used it for my rear view. the mirror is in the shape of a coffin and is polished stainless steel. Took an hour to cut chop and build it and actually works great, now I can see the copers behind me, lol.
