no,not at all. IMO these generation of trucks are the closest thing to the perfect fullsize thats been sold. when i worked at GM i would regularly see them come in with over 100k with the factory brakes still on and they had plenty of pad. the only common issues i've seen are the steering shafts clunk,and the hvac gets confused at times. hell GM doesn't even recommend checking the factory air filter until 50k miles

Word. I have an 04 with 75K, and the only major thing replaced has been wheel bearings, and an inner tie rod. Only other issues I have had are maintenance items like brakes, and changing fluids.

and i bought the revised steering shaft off ebay. should be here this week. i went ahead and pumped grease in it to stop it for now..
