Re: Picked up a new Dodge Challenger!

Awesome car, these are by far the best looking new muscle cars out of the 3, the camaro is a distant 3rd even to the new mustang. The interior looks sweet too.

Re: Picked up a new Dodge Challenger!

Got to admit they are pretty nice for a new car but I don't really like any Challenger much. I cannot wait until I get next to one somewhere quiet and put it in it's place with the Wedge. It would be better than the fullsize Ram that tried me the other day and I wouldn't budge, guys all doing burnouts and it's just like. A***hats think because it's got that trademark Hemi logo on it that they're the baddest people around. Just don't get that attitude and you'll be fine.

I loved our Focus, we had a '07 Focus ST with the 173hp motor/5spd and it would move. Thing handled like a dream and had every single option, sunroof, heated leather, everything. Thing also got 38mpg and could seat 5 people. Was Car & Driver's Most Fun Car for under 18k in '07.

If you want a Challenger start field hopping and you'll be a lot happier with the one you bring back to life than the one from the dealership, and cost you a lot less.

You really can't base a persons life (or what he has done with it) based on a vehicle he has in his forum sig or screen name.

Your dad has a moron for a son, so what does that say about him? He's a worthless father.

BTW:
"09 challenger, an 05 grand prix gtp, 03 eclipse gts, 03 sierra 1500hd"

Those aren't anything to brag about.

Re: Picked up a new Dodge Challenger!

My friend and his dad went in together and bought a srt8 challenger with the 6spd, its pretty wild. Its got under a 1000kms on it, and the windsheild has already cracked from the torque.

Two things I learned long ago... 1) A person is not defined by their material possessions, but rather by the behavior of their children. 2) Never argue with an idiot, they'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

That having been said, you define what kind of man your father is and I refuse to argue with you.

If you just want someone to ohh and ahh over your father's "toys" then maybe you should stick to talking to him about them. If you can't handle when someone expresses their personal opinion about those same "toys" then don't bring up the subject in a public forum.

Who the **** cares what your dad has. Its funny how all your posts are "we picked up a challenger" "We weren't even in the market for a car"
No, you did not pick up a challenger. quit riding your dads balls, then try to bash people for what they have and don't have? You dont have shit, your dad has stuff. Shut the **** up.

It cracked....from torque....right. How much torque do these things even have like 400 pounds? A frickin 350 can have that much dude! You guys have probably never driven a torque monster like a Buick 455 with 515lbs or a Caddy 500 with 550, that's torque my friend, a Duramax is torque, an srt8 is (and I'm just spit balling here) a motor whose hp exceeds it's torque, I just looked it up and I'm dead on. You guys have probably been driving Honda Civics and Toyota Camry's your whole life and can't tell the difference. Oh I bet someone cracked your windshield and your friend had to make up some stupid lie (only way it could crack is if he twisted the entire car body dude) or it was a faulty part on Chrylser's end because Chrysler ALWAYS has to have something wrong with it's cars.

I didn't pay attention to this until just now but it sounds like your dad is one of those Hemi A**hats. Guy in the Trans Am probably wasn't even trying dude, just because you guys own a brand new pony car doesn't mean you're the most awesome thing since sliced bread and just because the guy in the Trans Am has a sporty car doesn't mean he's out to race people. The 462CJ/PI stroker in my Tbird CAN do 0-60 in 4 seconds but I don't feel the need to be constantly trying to prove something to someone, that sounds more like compensating for something to me and that you guys are on some huge ego trip because you've never been around a halfway decent car before.

Thats a lie,it doesnt have to be decent just because its brand new.Im pretty sure he meant halfway decent as in decently fast, not a 13-14 sec challenger that cant even keep up with a 4 banger evo or srt4.

Re: Picked up a new Dodge Challenger!

Yes I mean halfway fast/cool. If the Trans Am was seriously trying to race you guys and you put him in his place then I was being a douche fag and I'm never too big to apologize however just keep it cool, you'll get a lot of those idiots the same way people try to race me in the Xtreme, just because it's got a body kit people expect it to be something it isn't. Hopefully you guys will rise above it someday after the novelty wears off, it just happens naturally.

Usually when someone buys a new car every year then they:
  1. Are dumb
  2. Don't know the meaning of "Money Management"
  3. Have a tiny penis
  4. Have a kid with a tiny penis
BTW your family hasn't bought a new car every year, their bank has

You know when I was 16 I had a $25,000 Tahoe, when I was 18 I had a nice 99 Sierra custom truck, when I was 20 I turned that truck into a show truck which got a little magazine coverage, but I never got a big head about any of that. My family has always had pretty nice stuff, but NONE of us have ever acted like or thought we were better than someone else. You're not better than anyone else either, just about anyone can afford a Challenger, just depends on if you want to finance for 3, 5, or 7 years.

Yeah I thought the same thing when I read that BS post. There's many reasons to not own a new vehicle, two that I can think of off the top of my head are either low or no car payments and low insurance bill.
