Re: Bodydropped 99 s-10/hombre

nice, and don't paint them blue. the black with the skinny white wall makes it look mean. i plan on getting blue ones for my white s10... eventually... probably will be a while.

[quote=What are you talkin about the tranny tunnel in the seat?[/quote]

When i put my seat in the middle of the seat is resting on the tranny tunnel. So if i want to lower the seat im going to have to cut the seat out for the tranny area, and the brackets.

Re: Bodydropped 99 s-10/hombre

Thanks guys, and i'll prolly leave them black, they look good on there.

dimeon15's- Wouldnt that make the seat just fold in half? I havnt seen the underside of one so i'm guessin theres more supports that are left after it would be trimmed?

Re: Bodydropped 99 s-10/hombre

Yeah I just got off so i'll try and get that stuff tomorrow, it was at a plaza tire I remember that much I walked in and said I needed the fatest white wall in a 205-75-15 I think and they looked threw the window at my fullsize I have 20's on then back at me with a weird look haha

Edit: Thanks layin dime, i'm kinda lookin around for another bed to redo this one, the bodydrop on it was done kinda half assed and was over drop on one side and I've got alot of washers in one side. Then the whole bed floor was shifted to the driver side so I cant align it not and the bed mounts are already slotted on the frame so its kinda screwed looks badass until you crawl under it

Re: Bodydropped 99 s-10/hombre

That was the 1st owners plan, he had a rendering of what he wanted and it had the envoy front end, but a shop screwed it up or something so he pulled it out of there and did the work himself

no, just hoping I can have it out of school and drive it a little while before it goes back into the garage, doubt that thing would live through a winter, no heat would suck ass

Re: Bodydropped 99 s-10/hombre

Thanks one more leak to find and it will stayed up for at least 2 weeks, my fam came up to school today for family day, which might as well be a free day, and he said only the front pass side leaked off so i'm sure I missed a quick connect some where. Its been like a week and a half so I was impressed, since before the whole truck was down in a night and the tank pressure was gone in 2

Re: Bodydropped 99 s-10/hombre

Thanks guys, I bought it off of here, it was in Iowa when I got it, and I know it was in tenn when it was built, then it was stock in Va. Not sure if it was ever in PA.

The guages I just took the HVAC controls apart and drilled out 2 inch holes in the face plate. Wasnt to bad since I dont have heat or ac anymore.

Re: Bodydropped 99 s-10/hombre

Well when I bought it I knew it needed a new throw out bearing I think it is, but when I get it up to school i'm goin to replace everything I can so I dont have to mess with it for awhile. When its in nutral or the clutch is pushed in its fine, but while moving in gear is makes sounds like metal on metal almost grinding. I know almost nothing about them and i'm goin to school for autobody, but we take classes covering other stuff so we're well rounded for the workin world. So in that other class the teacher is goin to help be rebuild it, which I thought was pretty cool
