Re: Bodydropped 99 s-10/hombre

When I bought my BD'd s-10, they didn't even ask if it was modified. I told him it had bags and a BD, but he just kept on entering my info like it didn't even matter.

Re: Bodydropped 99 s-10/hombre

Well mine knows my fullsize is dropped, stereo, wheels and that whole deal so they asked about this and I told them it was bagged like my last s10, but with alot of body work and for them to fully cover it would have been like 1400 for 6 months, but with the Hagerty show car stuff I get all kinda coverage for like 760 a year so its pretty sweet, I just gotta list mod and stuff which is what I have been typing up for awhile

Re: Bodydropped 99 s-10/hombre

Finally picked up some new mirrors, got them from the Harley dealer, thier pretty cool lookin, but eventually i'm goin to have to reshave the mirrors to where their not frenched in, or not frenched as far or something.
Old

New

It looks like thier touching the body, but they clear by about 1/4"-1/2" haha. Also I can see out of both sides now but they suck to adjust

Try hubcaps_plus on ebay for moons. I just ordered an extra set from them for my truck. I got the 10 3/16" set and they fit perfectly. Plus there only like $36.

Should look pretty cool, i'll prolly have to do something similar if I ever have to replace a headlight or something cause I cant find the things around here.

Wow i saw this posting around on my project thread and thought those wheels where huge black ones with a chrome lip! lol. Looks awsome, love the suspension setup and color. Very clean. Good luck man but i dont think i would change much- totaly my style! I like the caps too! Ive been thinking about putting some on mine.

Re: Bodydropped 99 s-10/hombre

Yeah I started reliezing that before the moons the little white walls looked like a chrome lip, i'm thinkin about paintin the wheel blue, but I think it looks badass with the caps so i'll prolly leave it. Takin an idea from your thread I found a bench seat tonight in a junk yard out by a friends house so hopfully that will work out after I cut it down.

Yeah chevy has used the 5x4.75 bolt pattern for a long time. They bolt right up, thier just the general 5 lug pattern from the old days.

Re: Bodydropped 99 s-10/hombre

Bench seat will look awsome in your truck, i put mine in today and its alright. It sits up a little higher than the stock ones tho so you might want to lower the mounting brackets and cut the tranny tunnel out of your seat. I would keep your wheels how they are man i love em...

Re: Bodydropped 99 s-10/hombre

Yeah I dont plan on changing them, might resand annd repaint them, or better yet sandblast them sometime and paint them for real. I just seen your bench my buddy found on in a junk yard so I might pull it and see if I can get it to work. What are you talkin about the tranny tunnel in the seat?
