Re: Bagged Mustang anyone?

Well it got insane lift before, still gets it in the front...but the back is limited because of the shocks now so it doesn't go up very high. I'll get a quick video/pictures up, but they will be dark. I got out of class early tonight because the power went out so that's why I'm posting before 10.

Thanks for the compliments everyone, feels good to hear S10 guys lovin' the stangs.

BTW, I have AVS's 4-channel remote system hooked up for remote fill/dump. I have the digital AVS gauges and chrome switchbox as well, everything I won from them went into the car. THANKS AVS!

Pics:

Videos:

Sorry, didn't feel like revving the piss out of the car, that's a 3k rev.

Things to come in the future:
Shorten struts 3" to lay the front
Grille delete(so it's just the horsie)
Smoked headlights
New sideskirts(not shitty tacky ones, just slightly lower ones)
SVT Cobra front bumper later down the road

BAG SETUP:
8 gallon
dual Viair 400c's
8 1/2" SMC's w/ mufflers
1/2" red airline
Airlift 2b6 bags
AVS remotes
AVS 9-switch
AVS digital gauges
I ran 8g wire from the relays to a power distribution block, then 4g out to the battery with a fuse holder in the engine bay.
And HOLY FVCK! NO AIR LEAKs!

Wow maybe some day I'll actually work on my truck too.

Re: Bagged Mustang anyone?

I had a 2002 Mustang but v-6 and redish orange with the new cobra wheels. Gave it a 3 inch drop and it looked good and handled good. Always thought it would be cool to bag it. Now I know it is. Looks good.

Not sure, I was thinking about getting a carbon fiber trunk lid and going wingless, along with a carbon fiber cowl hood. The paint is about shot on the hood because of chips and it would cost more to buy a cowl hood and get it painted then a carbon fiber one.

It's a Cervini's Stalker bumper, damng thing is a $480 bumper with an almost $400 paint job.

I want to mount hitch balls on it but the only place to do it is right next to the lower 4-link bars, and the gas tank is plastic and right behind the axle so I'm not mounting the shit without making a skid plate for it. I want to drag it so bad though.

I'm not a big fan of the Saleen bumper, it's too ricey for me, too much going on. The 03 cobra is exactly what I'm going for though, that shit is hot.

I ordered fox body struts/shocks(79-93 mustang) because they're actually 1.5-2" shorter compressed in the front and around 2.5" shorter compressed in the rear, and they have more travel than the stock 94-04 shocks/struts too. It'll be even more slammed in the front on tuesday, then I'll get lift pictures. Putting a damn clutch in it today. Stock clutch is still there but almost gone at 160k miles so I'm not risking it.

Re: Bagged Mustang anyone?

Thanks man.

Here's the full lift that it gets right now, the rear should get about 3" more on Tuesday when I put the new shocks in. The rear got as much as the front before I put rodeo shocks on it, but they're just too short.

I'm going to try and clean the trunk up today, doing the clutch right now though. Tranny and clutch are off, just waiting to eat lunch then put everything back together.
