Good luck with getting the truck bagged. You'll love it.
Haha, well I'm sure I'll have some different things on mine though, not trying to copy anyway, just I found a good deal on these wheels and if I would've already been bagged for 20's I would've waited and saved up for 20's, but 17's will have to do when I get mine bagged at least for a good bit.

I'm thinking about just painting the door/tailgate handles. One day I do want a bodydrop though.

Your welcome. I really enjoyed helping you out today and bringing my girlfriend to meet you and your wife at dinner. Oh and we did make it to best buy. lol That best buy must not be very old.

Yeah dinner was good, we'll have to get up again one day. That Best Buy isn't but a few months old.

I made this post real quick before leaving the house for a party down the road and didn't realize the pics were sideways. I rotated them in photobucket before I posted so I don't know why they are like that.

I really like your truck man. I love the pewter with chrome wheels. I am kicking myself now for buying my truck (Blue) because there was a pewter one I was looking at too with the same miles/price.

Clean truck man!

Thanks, the color is definitely growing on me. I think it'll look even better when I get ss mirrors and get them painted along with the bed cover and handles.

I want 22's in the rear. You wanna trade 2 of your 22's for 2 of my 20's? haha

Re: 02 Pewter layin 20's hard (56k I don't think so.)

something like that, and you gotta cut the spring pocket for bag clearance. There's a lot more steps depending on what you want to do, and what size rim/tire. If you wanna lay out on 20's, there's a lot of relocating under the hood, modding your upper and lower control arms, notching the frame for tierods, etc.

Check out Devin's build thread on my truck.

Also there is a slew of info in the member projects threads.

no, the font is a little different, i was just joking around, my mom saw your truck the other day when you were up here, she was like there is a s10 with the back all the way down in the wendy's parking lot, and she said it was the same color as my dads silverado, and an ext cab with big wheels, so i kinda figured it had to be you by default.

I scrolled halfway down and the first thing I thought when I saw that last pic was that your frontend was smashed up and your truck was on fire, then I scrolled down and saw that it was the grill.

Truck's looking good as always.

i know i've posted in the build thread, but i still love this truck everytime i see it. did you really notice much difference when you put those SD uca's on? looking at the earlier pics, it seems like you have more camber now and it toes out some when laid out. i know they are shorter than stock ones, so that's probably why. how about from a performance or handling perspective? how is it not running shocks?

and i saw you had asked about a smooth bumper earlier. i found someone who did it. not like the one in mini truckin' i was thinking about but you get the idea. you don't have to trim it up and recess it like he did, just smooth and paint it.

thanks man. when the uppers were installed it seemed to travel better when aired up or out, but maybe it was just in my head. It toed out before I got the uppers. The camber looks like I have a little bit more, but again I'm not too sure.

Performance and handling isn't that bad, it's no sports car by all means. I miss the sway bar though. I hate the body roll I get while turning.
Running without shocks isn't that bad. It rides really good, depending on your ride height. I usually ride around 75-80 in the front and 70-65 in the rear. You'll get a little bouncy on the interstate going over bridges, but it's not bad at all. I doubt I'll run shocks, just because I like my turning radius, and I'm happy with the way it rides.

Yeah I never seen what people were talking about until I checked out that link. I like it, but at the same time I really don't. It's so short after he cut it. I think I'll stick with a rollpan when the time comes.
Thanks for the search though.

well i mean just do the smoothing but don't cut it short like that. he just took the plastic steps off and filled all the holes in. the one i was thinking of was in truckin' i think and what they did was smooth the bumper into the rear. i'm guessing they mad filler plates to mate it up to the body and then smoothed it all out. it looked pretty sweet. it's gonna bother me til i find that feature. guess i'll dig through my truckin's today.

so the bumper was molded to the back? I'd have to see it, but sounds like it would look good.

its obviously a bit more work, but it really makes a difference. btw your truck is my motivation. i got the same color truck sitting out front on 20's but no where near the ground. i've read through your project thread numerous times so i know what do to when it comes time.
