xtreme vs. mx6
my friend has a mazda mx6, and all he talks about mazda power
 mazda this,mazda  my mom. all that shiz. he thinks he can take anythinghe has cold air intake thats it. he said he'll kill my truck. a xtreme 4.3 auto he wants to go for 200 what you guys think whats up with these mx6 is it all hype?

Well, does he have the I4 or V6? A friend of mine just got an MX6 with the I4, and she let me drive it for a bit.....doesn't have a whole lot of power, and a good bit less than my I4 Altima. I've read, though, that a lot of people like to play with the V6, and it makes decent power. Just remember, a Mazda MX6/626 are just rebadged Ford Probes.

Hm....if he's a 5 speed, he might take you then. He should be putting out about the same hp numbers as you, with probably a bit less torque, and he weighs a good bit less.

his car weighs just as much as my truck f weird i thought it would be less but he said it was tha same my friend told me to drop with an auto will this work drop to 1 till i hit 4500 shift up to 2 till i hit 4500 shift up 3rd 4500rpm d |

And he's pulling 13.14s. Your truck does no where near that, even with the little shift trick your buddy told you about. Its simply not going to happen. If your truck is an xcab, you weigh more.

Doesn't matter what kind of shit he talks....I've known people who have 800 hp Vettes talk shit....doesn't mean their car isnt fast. I've beaten S-10s with the 4.3L with my 2.4L I4...so I think he's going to be able to do it, especially being as his car does low 13s.

i smell a lot of BS. first of all there is no way a MX-6 will run low 13's with just a CAI. they run high 15's stock. and if u think ur stock S-10 can beat him, u r indeed a moron. even if, say he ran high 15's, i doubt u would be able to beat him, it might be close. everything about this thread has the odor of Bullshit all over it.
