Those damn rice burners again!
So, the girlfriend and myself were on our way to town to get a bite to eat. I'm in the fast lane and I notice this damn white early 90's Civic swerving around traffic behind me. I was saying to myself, "yeah buddy c'mon and get some of this!" He approaches the passenger side and revs it. "HA HA HA!!!" I thought, reving that little fart can at me? I have true dual Super 44 Flows with no cats and JBA shorty ceramic headers and turndowns under the rollpan. I looked over and see his hands shift down to second gear and he punches it. My truck has shitty roll-n-go hence the Richmond 4:10's I'm packing. I punch it and leave that little fart machine in his tracks like he's tied to a stump!!! I continue to floor it while he's several lengths back trying to keep up. I signaled over to catch him at a red light so I can do a dead stop!!!! Where my truck is at it's best. I have a TCI 2800 stall converter, MT Street radials, MSD programmable shift kit, and of course the 4:10's. He would never stop at all and I couldn't catch him at a redlight either. He totally pussed out! I was bummed! He had seen nothing at all from what my truck has. I slowed down after leaving him and got over in his lane and he got in my lane. I threw my arms up like C'mon I want more. He just looked at me and drove casually. I laughed and pulled into the restaurant. So guys this is my story. I thought it was very funny. He wasn't even a threat. BTW...I hate roll-n-go races!!! They are so stupid! I sooo wish he had caught me at a redlight.

Re: Those damn rice burners again!
I'm double bad. I street race some times, and I do it from a roll.
I go out to BFE where there's no side roads, no traffic, and you can see for miles. There's 4 lanes going one way, and concrete dividers from the other lanes. Why do I do it? My 5 speed with 3.08's sucks something fierce off the line, my NV3500 is a grenade and a power shift or 2000RPM plus launch is the pin, and it's safer and harder to get caught. Aside from that, my 60-100 times are probably twice as fast as my 0-20 times. Some 3.73's would make it more fun across the board though. Go pull a spark plug, then you might be a fair race to an early 90's Civic with possible light mods.

Re: Those damn rice burners again!
Yes I'm grown up at age 20. What the hell do you call it. Hit a pole? There weren't any! lol Besides the case I get your point. So you have had a little fun on the streets just w/o a passenger. Everyone does stupid shit including yourself so don't preach to me. I just won't street race again.

Re: Those damn rice burners again!
Apology accepted there. Sorry there myself orangesonoma. I realize what youre saying. I just know sometimes i love to show my truck off because it's got a rep in my town. I have a bunch of "Imports" try to race me because they know my truck to be quick, so I like to shock 'em a little. thats over now, old news, track from now on.

I just have one question......Why were you in the fast lane doing 45 in a 65?? That's about as dumb as racing with a passanger IMO.
