I was just pointing out that booth7178 posted 2 different 1/4 mile times in 2 different threads.

What do I have? A 2.2. What does it matter?

12.1 @ 97? That trap speed doesn't seem to jive with the 12.1, no? Should be somewhere in the low 100's, I would think...

Got it done in time for the last test and tune of the year and was able to pull off a 12.56 @ 113 on the limiter at 1000' and spun bad through 60' cause of some shitty 28x9's (still a 1.58 60') will have better ones in april when the tracks open back up and a new set of 30 x 9's.

This is a bit fishy... @12.1 you should be close to 110mph. A 97mph trap is usually associated with low 14's. Are you sure it wasn't a 14.1??

I'd have to agree with that unless you are a 10 sec car and shut down you'd still have a 13 sec run at 97mph. That or you have the most hooking truck I've heard of with a 0-60ft of what 1.15. I'm not being an ass just that to list a speed of 97mph would be more likely a 1/8 mile trap time with a high 11 sec or 12.1. Hell, I've a run before at 103mph and still have a 14.3 timeslip with I think a 2.5 or 2.6 60ft

Re: Post Your 1/4 Times Here!

hey, took my truck to the local strip for the first time.. must say im very impressed with the 195/75/r14 tires, on this truck, they hook amazingly well..lol, and found that my motor will take 6700rpm..lol im impressed considering i built it in my garage, its a 2 bolt block, stock crank and pink rods, and my first time buildin a motor, add a 10 bolt with a 3.08 rear gear..lol and i get to do a full pass in first the hole way down, doin 6700rpm/60mph at the trap..lol

just stock rear end with a mini spool kit, leafs and 3" blocks..

my best run time slip..
60ft-----2.25
330ft----6.247
mph-----62.64
384ft----6.824
