Mustangs vs. Me

Well in my quest to be a mustang eater...I think I am almost there!!
Friday night filled up the nitrous and went hunting...finally found an unsuspecting stang I would say 02-03 don't really know my stangs all that well...a 30 something driving and I give him the stare we take off on the green and he pulls on me through first gear and then the juice works it's magic and I start to reel him in as I get to his door the homo shuts it down...so I am in sure in his mind he thinks he won...we come to another light and he won't even look at me and he doesn't want to go again!!!

Sat night I had a grudge match against a blown stang driven by a girl...she has been talking smack about my truck for a few months so about 3 weeks ago we set up to run at the track before she got her blower....she chickens out and doesn't race me that is the night I run 14.3 so last week she shows to the track and runs a 14.2 with the blower...so the scene is set...we meet up at the street races and we run...we'll I know I have to get her at the line or I will lose and what do you think happens we leave at the same time...she beat me by a car and a bit....but to me I consider that a small victory I can keep up with a blown stang..not the fastest blown stang ever but still...

damn the new GT's almost run that stock. but i knwo what ya mean man, i woudl liek to get ot the point where i could hold my own against a 'Stang. i've raced sum before and i can keep up with them in 1st gear but after that it's all downhill. more mods will come soon though. get into the 13's and you'll be beatin a lot of those stock Mustangs.

Re: Mustangs vs. Me

Heck, You should be able to WAX some stangs with a 14.3....Pre-99 (the body style in my avatar) is nothing for you to worry about, with high 14's - low 15's being regular times for them. The 99+ (Newest ones) are running low 14's stock. Hell, with a bottle fed 4.3 alone with no other mods should be able to run down an SN-95 (1994-1998) GT. You're there my friend, you just need to catch the right stang to run. Hell, after next week and my ported heads and intakes and TB go on, I should be running with some of the GT's....That'll be pretty embarassing for em.

Re: Mustangs vs. Me

Just curious, if the stang is stock are we talking about the 4cyl turboed stang? That time does seem high if it's a turboed v8. Either way, good times for your s-10.
