beat a new tiburon

im drivin home after pickin up my friend at the mall and at the set of lights outside of it 2 kids in a newer body stlye tiburon 2003-2004 were revvin thier engine and i looked over at them and smiled. i was on a losing streak lately because i been racing faster cars just to see what my engine can do
(last die was to an s2000). i didnt want to take any chances this time. so i reach behind and turn the bottle nozzle (no automatic opener) and flip the switch. Now its set to start sprayin at around 3500 rpm so i took it easy off the line and he had a 1-2 car length jump on me i just wanted to take it easy so their was no burnout. at about 40 mph i was passing him pretty fast. i was really ahead of him at like 50-60mph then let off at about 70. i was payin more attention lookin for police then looking in my mirrors so im not exactly sure how much ahead i was. Middlesex road in Tyngsboro is sometimes infested wit cops so i really didnt want trouble. their is another light down the road a little bit past a mini golf place where we met again. my window was down and i wanted to say somthing to him but he never looked over at me he kept his head straight and took off like we were racing again...i didnt go....just rolled it off at normal speed. im almost positive he would have handed my ass to me if i wasnt using nitrous because it was a gt model and i belive those run high 15's. when i ran my truck just engine i was gettin 16.4-16.3 it was the first time i used my nitrous on the streets and hopefully my last....

You will always use your nitrous on the street. Everyone does Sucks to use it though, your bottle pressure was so low, you probably weren't gaining but another 50 hp out of the 75 shot.

Nice Kill.....I show a 7.1 0-60 & a 15.6 QM on the v-6 GT. The list I am looking at is a little high on some of these times though. I drove a 6 spd & it was pretty quick.

Hells yeah the 6-speed is quick. Be proud of that kill with his close gearing and v6 he could have made a mess of you. But you used a little trick and showed him what a DIME will do.
