sub chatter
Im gonna try to explain this the best i can.
All my electronics(computer, fusebox) are all located under my dash..my power wire is ran through the same hole for all my wires going to the comp and fuse box. When i turn my car on it kinda chatters and also in between songs..i think it even does it when the sub is off and the radio is still playing. Dunno if it makes sense are if anyone has had this happen to them..any idears? |

Re: sub chatter
they don't HAVE to be on the opposite side.....but the further the distance the better......and if they must cross paths they should do so at 90 deg. angles......
my power currently runs down the passenger side and the rcas run down the tranny hump under the console .....i also sound deadened on top of the cables also but for no particular reason |

Re: sub chatter
also check all of your connections, thats what i had problems with, i had a couple bad connections and it did the same thing to me, i just went through and soldered my connections and made sure no wires were touching since im waiting to move my power away from my rcas until i have carpet, for now i have them both run under my console

Re: sub chatter
Yeah dont waste your time on cheap rcas with a thin casing, buy the rcas with the real thick casing around them it helps alot and those cheap ones burn out all the time
