so im new to the boards but have been hovering around for a year or so. never thought my first post would be in the audio section, seeing as im moving on my 6th year of collision/painting. well, i have a 1988 s10 i've been building, 350, t-5, 3:73 rear end out of a camaro...anyways im moving onto the body/interior now. i was just curious as i have money to spend aside from my body work that is in progress now. im heavily into modifying cars, trucks, etc..ive restored my own 1972 nova when i was 15, and sole it last year for $8700...and have done several fiberglass setups for friends, but i was wondering and havent seen it yet, has anyone thrown a jl w7 or w6v2 in a regular cab s10 (1st gen) in any way that isnt where the console is (being as my shifter is located there) any pics would be awesome

pioneer deh-p7700mp head unit, tons of features and plays really well

cheap pawn shop(explains chalk writing on it) Nitro amp, works damn good

i had one of those sony xplode subs, a 10 behind my driver seat, and honestly, for the money i paid( 28 shipped from ebay), it kinda bumped. i had it for a temporary system, wasnt bad, never blew, but would never buy one again

Here is my new box I just finished yesterday. As you can see it does not fit and looks ruff but as soon as I move the amp I will make a cover and finish the port to clean it up.

thanks. The wires were heddin under the end covers but I took them off to tune I have an apointment on saturday with a termlab. I also need to move it because it rettles REAL bad and the box is to tall so I can move the seats back, I am hoping it will fit on the front but I dont think it will so it will probly go under and I will build the front foot to fit it and add some fans. I would like to keep it out to see it if anyone has ideas.
