Re: sound system show off!!

1: Go into AM/FM mode
2: Hit "setup" on the remote control
3: Enter 543210 on the remote, listening for the beep for each number entered
4: A new menu will appear. Touch the button that has the hammer/screwdriver on it in the upper left-hand part of the screen.
5: Select Brake bypass to "ON" and hit the "X" near the bottom of the screen.

9 12's in an extended cab?! Damn.

BTW, what are the 4 amps powering... you have 6 subs... Or is the 4th amp for the 3 new subs... and one isn't hooked up atm?

Re: sound system show off!!

3 1200.1's(1 to each pair of subs now) and 1 600.4 for the components in the kicks, doors and dash). When I add the extra subs the amps will be relocated and I will be adding another 600.4, more components, a 1200.1 and a 600.1. I will post pics of the rest when I get more time.

Your not understanding him.

When you flush mount a sub, its when you put a double wall on it, and recess the sub down so it sits flush.

I don't mean to hijack, but does this have an effect on sq at all? Makes the sub louder? sound better?

Thanks

I can't honestly answer that question. I just thought it was more or less for support along the face of the box, but I thought I read up somewheres that it makes it a little louder. If someone could correct me on that, then that would be great.

509blazer - Sweet setup. I like it. Good job.

Re: sound system show off!!

the box sounds good... hits hard. had a guy in the club i belong to that has an 18" sub in his 4dr blazer say that it pushes alot more air them him, which i figured was a good thing..lol naw but it does hit hard and im pleased cuz i can listen to about everything and the bass is just right for the different types of things i listen to.

my console plans are just to glass in my guages, possible glass in toggle switches for my switches(if not, glass a holder for my 10 sb)...that is bout it and paint it red. nothing to hard, trying to keep it simple
