Quick Fuse Question

My amp currently runs a 40a fuse and I'm going to purchase a KnuKonceptz KOL-AK4 4 gauge amp wiring kit that comes with a 120A Mini-ANL Fuse (MIDI/AFC). Does this fuse have to match my current amp fuse. I'm a newb to this kind of stuff so I just want to be sure before I buy the kit. Thanks.

Re: Quick Fuse Question

You want to match the fuse to the wire's rating. In this case, 120A fuse is fine for chassis wiring with 4 gauge.
