Pics of Your beds

I'm thinking about putting a system in my bed under the tonneau same thing as putting it in the trunk right?? Wondering if you guys could post some pics.

not quite...lol they are called blowthrough's and they require cutting a hole in the bed and the cab, so it's a bit more work. if you do a search for blowthroughs and there are a few good builds that will let you know what to expect. phontain did a really nice one and it shows how to do it step by step pretty much...good luck.

Yeah it would be the exact same as putting it in the trunk!.. Of someone else's car... and driving arround in front of them

no dude...that won't work, noremac is a member here he might be doing what you're talking about, but the cab is not connected directly to the cab and does not share airspace, it would suck, it would sound like shit in the cab.

you could build a bandpass and just cut a hole for the port so you wouldnt have to cut out everything underneath the bed

The sound system in the bed is not going to work. It will be useless just like how people put tv screens in the trunks of cars or beds of trucks. You can do a blow through like mentioned here but only thing is you have to cut your cab up and when you go to resell the truck one day (trust me you will) then that will make it harder to sell IMO. I bought my 96 with a blow through and 2 15" subs in it and I didn't want to buy it because of that but did. Mine is horrible looking but works. I plan to weld the hole up and get rid of it unless I find a clean install on someones to see how I will like it. You can do this and still keep your back seats and have room. All up to you.
