Re: needing Amp remote (bass nob)

how many pins inside the hole? and can you measure the size of the hole? i've had a few amps in the past that used phone-jack-looking plugs and some are slightly different sizes or have different pin setups.

Call Power Acoustik tech support. They'll sell you one.

I took my bass knob out of my amp all together, I've been told that's not the right way to adjust your gains.

correct me if im wrong but im almost positive that your supposed to adjust the gains on the AMP while the bass knob is connected and turned all the way on. That way when you do mess with the Bass Knob, you can't turn the gains up any higher than you have them set. The Knob is just a quick easy, safe way to turn your gains down when you don't want bass. I believe. Correct me if im wrong tho.

not really....bass boost is actually a type of eq.......the bass boost in my ppi amps are a type of parametric eq but only allowing boost and not cut

Re: needing Amp remote (bass nob)

yeah i know that, but it is built in with the cross over, it adds however many decibles at whatever frequency, and some amps have the ability to select a frequency of your choice....

but yeah, i misphrased that. thank you for the correction.

sigh....it is not built into the x-over section.....it is built into the eq section.....

a x-over is a x-over...it is it's own section....as is the eq......sigh once again.....
