They don't have facotory RCA outlets but you can get an adapter that you splice your speaker wires into and then then it outputs them to a set of RCAs. All you would need after that is a remote wire to power your amp on.

Re: installing sound system to facotry HU

If you go that route I would almost use a relayed switch for the amp.

Re: installing sound system to facotry HU

you have to use whats called a high to low converter. basically, it converts speaker outputs(from the factory deck)and has rca's you can run to your amps. it's that simple. even walmart sells them under a brand called scosche. seriously, i can answer all of your questions but i cannot figure out how to attach pics to my reply's?? can anyone help, i can help out more if i can show you with images??

Re: installing sound system to facotry HU

I have a 10" infinity powered sub i added to the infinity system in my caravan. It has the remote bass controll also. Plus it can be connected byRCAs or the hi- level speaker input. Its not a big thumper, but it sounds nice.

if your doing a powered sub, typically it will take a high level input, meaning from the speaker wires so no converter needed

Re: installing sound system to facotry HU

The infinity sub i linked to has both 4 channel high level and 4 channel rca inputs and also you can hook up remote wire to turn it on, or set it to detect the audio siganl to turn it on. Thats the way i have it. Plus has numerous setting on the sub as well as the remote volume control. Ive never personally heard a bazooka except in a store display. I really like the infinity. Very nice added sound and bass to stock infinity sytem.

theres a little bit of space behind the rear bench seat and the back of the cab. i found some demensions on s-10crewcab, and as long as the bottom of the box/powered sub is less than 8" and the top of the box is less than 4" i can fit a sub box. im still messing around with the idea, but i found some subs & boxes that can fit behind the seat like...
