How do I disable my factory alarm??

Ok guys a few weeks ago I installed a Vipor 550 ESP with remote start and all the works. My truck is a 2000 GMC Sonoma ZQ8 with a factory alarm. Ok the vipor is installed and works great except for one problem......when i disarm my vipor the factory alarm will go off( in other words the horn will honk for at least 2 minutes nonstop until i stick the key in the ignition). So as of now i can either disarm and quickly jump in my truck and stick the key in the ignition to stop the horn or i can start my truck with the remote start feature then unlock the doors while it is started. It doesnt set off the horn when i do that but it is a hassle to remote start every time just to not make the horn go off. So has anybody else ever came across this problem??? If so i need a remedy to disable the factory alarm. Please help. Thanks
