Re: anyone running 2 apline type x's in a ext. cab?
they only need 1.0-2.0 cubic feet for a ported box.. and i talked to a certified dealer for them to day and they did a volume test on my truck and the only time i will have a problem with all my windows.. up but once they are down they will move some serious air
its two type x going to be building a custom ported box running them are two of their 1000watt rms amps and a 10farad cap |

I Dont Need A Cap.. I Just Want It.. Around Here If U Dont Have A Cap Your Stupid.. So Its More Less Just For Show. I Have A 150amp Alternator. Yellow Top Battery And The Big 3 Upgrade All Done
And Im Going To Be Running 2 Or 0 Guage From The Battery To The Distribution Block Then From There Its Going To Be 4 Guage To The Amps |

Re: anyone running 2 apline type x's in a ext. cab?
I got to type x 12's in a lancer and man they do move some serious air but sound way better than they hit. Clean and crisp all the way out but they require a hell of alot of juice to run. They're sensitivity isn't all that high either so they sorta aren't made for spl. I got them in a box that allows them 1.3 per so they work out okay. and thats in a lancer so you will be fine.
