Re: 91 s-10 sound system help
Unless you go with shallow mount subs or do a blow through its a pain in the ass to have a system. And if your really short it helps too

Re: 91 s-10 sound system help
You ever thought of putting in bucket seats? I've got my 8" mounted inbetween my seats. As for your dash speakers put in some 4x6 plate speakers. BTW a 8" is plenty to rattle a reg cab as long as you have enough power getting to it.

Re: 91 s-10 sound system help
I'm running a premier 12" shallow mount sub behind the seat and infinity kappa 4x6 plates in the dash with premier 5-1/4 components in the doors powered by two MB quart RAB 250's and a pioneer GM-5300T amp running 380 watts bridged at 4 ohms. I was aiming for a good clean full range of sound and this ended up being way overkill. However if I had the chance to do it over I would only upgrade 5-1/4's to 6-1/2's. Good luck. BTW I have a 93' RCSB S10.

Re: 91 s-10 sound system help
Haven't used it, but seen it. Something like that is going to seriously kill the sound stage, not to mention it doesn't have much power, it's a pain in the ass to run the wires up to it, and it's way too expensive.
