Theres no room... Those subs are massive, as well they require the right box. You couldnt fit them in there. Unless between the seats. But thats alot of work

Re: 2 10" w7s in a reg cab?

if you plan on mounting them behind the seats, it would be extremely difficult, ive looked into it myself, they have an 8 inch mounting depth so, add at least 1.75 inches onto that for box thickness and an inch for gap between the pole vent and the back of the box, then add probably another inch or so for your surround sticking out and cone excursion, so youre looking at 11-12 inches back wall to seat right there.

although mounting them at an angle with some serious math to get the vent in the magnet pole to face right into the bottom back corner of the box can reduce that a little say 9-10 inches at least though. measure with your seat as far forward as is comfortable from the back of it to the back wall, at the floor and at about 12 inches up the wall, also remember that you can take the carpet off under the plastic trim piece to gain about 1/4-1/2 inch.

otherwise a blow through would be another option for you

If you can get them both for $300, get them. The world's worst salesman could turn a profit with those, and would be money well invested in buying better subs that will fit your cab.

Sure; but he'll be blaming the subs when he gets outclassed by someone else with two eights.

How 'bout bucket seats made out of 5 gallon buckets! 4 in a row; that's four subs and bench seating! Cornering would be a bitch...

Re: 2 10" w7s in a reg cab?

went and checked them out today. Seems sketchy. He said one of them was blown. Then he offered the good w7 and a alpine pdx 1000 watt amp. What should I do? Buy them, then turn around and sell the sub and get a 13tw5?

i think jl wants $325 to recone a 10w7(90 day warranty)....plus shipping both ways...the driver and packing weighs 35lbs.....that would cost more than my cost($375) for a 10w7 w/2 year warranty...it's probably getting close to my cost for a 12w7($425)....but **** it,my ppis and eql have not had power put to them in at least a year and a half,i don't even care about car audio anymore

Well damn. Try to steal a couple then, please.

Only reason I ask is because David Moore at PSI will mod the 12"er's motor and do a complete recone with a common 12 spoke basket for $200 out the door. Seems rather cheap for the buy in of a near free blown motor.

Stereo Integrity's BM is due to be out any dayweekmonth now. An option to consider if for no other reason the price. There aren't a lot of people that have heard it though.
