tweedind upper part of doorpannel help?

I am about to order the tweed to do the upper part of my doorpanels and i have a couple questions.

What is the best way to remove and reatach the upper part that i will be tweeding?

Should i order the tweed with the foam backing or not?

Thanks in advance

i realize i spelled tweeding wrong in the topic

PunkDime99 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Re: tweedind upper part of doorpannel help?

well.. when i did mine, i just removed the piece that is fabric'd. i think i just poped the plastic 'welds'. then i tweeded it and when i reinstalled it, i just drilled out some plug holes in the door panel, put em together and hot glued my life away...never had a problem and looks SIC

EDIT:

you can get a plastic welder or use a soldering iron to melt it back together. i would use this method just in case i need to take it off again. adhesive might make that difficult.
