Interior AC/Heating Leaking Problem HELP

I have noticed the car gets hot inside and was going somewhere wearing sandles and noticed that both driver and passenger floor vents release hot air even though the temperature dial is on cold. I am talking about the vent that is right by the accelerator. My feet were hot and so was my friends feet. Is there something wrong or broken in the system vents or is this a common issue with my 2004 2 Door Blazer Xtreme. I have the extended warranty so i am not worried about paying anything, but would like to know what it is that is causing this. Thanks everyone
