First remove the visors from the truck. You will need a T-15 torque wrench ( the star shaped one) There are 3 screws holding the visor on, once they are removed the visor will drop. There is a small plug tucked inside the hole going into the roof.
this is a great write up...i used it awhile back to do my visors, but instead of hot glue, i ended up sewing it up since the florida sun heated up the hot glue and they came undone!
I know this post has been on here for a while but do you by any chance know what the color is called and if it is the 2000 or 5000 series or what. I know it's Grey but the site doesn't have very good pics. I can see yours better. I actually want mine a little darker than what you have but that would give me something to go by. thanks for any info. nice job by the way. looks good.
I just tried this tutorial using black denim and it worked great. Although I used 3M spray adhesive to attach the fabric and close the halves together. I'll see if it separates in the heat later I guess.
After finishing one, I would have used less fabric and supplies had I just sewn them from the start. plus even though it was by hand, it didnt take long at all.
